Chapter 14 and beyond!

Now that we have finished the book and all have a better understanding of Differentiation, we are all going to be using these strategies next year in our classrooms. We will also be showcasing our differentiation ideas/lessons to our fellow colleagues at the end of next year.(More information coming via Joanie and Laurie. :-) 

Does anyone have any plans on how and/or what they are going to differentiate next year? Please brainstorm/share below:

Chapter 13: Differentiating Products

In this chapter there were some great ideas on giving students choice and options to create products that  assess their knowledge, understanding, and skill. Differentiating products also gives students a chance to show strengths and talents.

Chapter 11: Differentiating Content

Choose one thing that you can differentiate in one lesson.

1. Choose a strategy from either this chapter or a previous one. Tell what the strategy is that you used and what you plan on Differentiating. (content? Process? assessment?)

2. Utilize the strategy and do the lesson. Tell us how it went in a post below. Would you do anything different next time? What strategy do you plan on trying next in your future lessons?

Chapter 10: The How To's of Planning Lessons Differentiated by Learning Profile

Two responses this week!

1. Reflect on Chapter 10. (Figures 10.3 and/or 10.4. might be useful!!) What do your current lessons "look" like? What could you change to better meet the learning needs/profiles of your students?

2. Respond to a post from a friend in Chapter 10 and share an idea or give them feedback.
